Krishna Prasad Srinivasamurthy

...was born on 25 October, 1968, in a government hospital of Bangalore, to S N Srinivasamurthy and S N Namagiri. He was the first son after six years of his parents marriage.

Krishna's schooling was done mostly in Hyderabad at Tagore Home's school (1st standard to 8th standard). Thereafter, he completed his schooling at St. Mary's school in Cox Town, Bangalore.

His pre-university subjects were Physics, Chemistry, Math, and Biology. He did the first year in Vijaya Junior College, Jayanagar, and second year in MES College, Malleshwaram.

He studied Mechanical Engineering at UVCE (Government college).

Krishna worked in several places in India, including BEML, Tata Consulting Engineers, TELCO, and Sonata. In the US, he worked with Peregrine.

His hobbies include playing cricket, playing with his kids, swimming, and watching violent movies!

Of his childhood dream, he says:

It kept on changing. In the beginning, I wanted to be a pilot, then I wanted to own a Merc, later I wanted to be doctor, then I wanted to be a mechanic, and so on and so forth.... Only one dream that even today is a dream, is owning a Merc.

Commenting on his party animal skills, Krishna chuckles:

I love to party, love to initiate technical discussion in parties (which annoys some people). My favorite places are Golden Palms in Bangalore , Orange County in Coorg, and Las Vegas in US.

Speaking on passion, Krishna states:

I have a passion to be the number one in what I am doing. I want to be the best programmer. I strive for perfection in everything.

His love for sports, he claims, extends to many - CRICKET, CRICKET and CRICKET!
