Krishna Prasad from HCL EAI Services was a featured speaker at the SPIN Talk on 28th July, 2005 held in Sasken auditorium. Krishna took a session on “The Agile way, an experience from an ODC” where he shared HCL EAI experiences of using Agile/Scrum in a typical offshore development center (ODC) setup. He stressed on the various challenges faced while adopting Agile/Scrum methodologies and how HCL EAI modified it to suit its ODC needs. He also highlighted the best practices followed by HCL EAI for the product development process so that it compliments the Agile/Scrum project management.

Test Automation - The Next Generation Test Technology was a one-day conference on Software Testing Automation organized by the STeP-IN Forum that brings together Test Champions and Gurus who share their knowledge for the benefit of practitioners. The Gurus from HCL EAI Services shared their experiences and practices on “Extensible Distributed Test Automation Framework for EAI/B2B”. They also addressed the challenges associated with the EAI/B2B test automation. Their presentation included a review of Cross FIT (Cross-platform Framework for Integration Testing), a testing framework developed by HCL EAI Services based on its extensive experience in EAI.

Krishna Prasad from HCL EAI Services Pvt. Ltd. hosted a session on How EDI Fits into the Web Services World. The seminar highlighted how EDI interoperates with Web Services and how the Web Services community accepts EDI as a standard payload. It also talked about the impact of Web Services on EDI transaction, different EDI standards, the role of EDI in Business Integration, and how the AS2 and BPEL standards impact EDI. The seminar addressed the emerging Web Services Standards in the Business Integration space and various industry trends of EDI and Web Services.
