On how SOA is evolving in the real world!
Submitted by chap on Monday, February 6, 2006 - 11:26 SOA and Web Services

Krishna and I presented at a SOA and Web Services seminar in Bangalore yesterday. (See press release). The audience, with attendees from Cognizant, Wipro, BEA, HP and others, showed the energy and interest that's usually not found in bigger conferences. Our presentation on how SOA is evolving in the real world was very well received with a lot of discussion during and after the presentation. We used the xSOA 3-layer stack as a guide to studying the continuing evolution of SOA with EPCIS and ESA as examples in the SOA layer, BPEL and EDA/BAM as examples in the composition layer and ESB as the example in the management layer.
